What is the Year of Engineering and why is it needed?

Quite simply, this is our way to change the course of our sector’s history. We have a skills shortage, and EngineeringUK estimates we may need 186,000 new engineers each year until 2024 to work on a wealth of new projects. We need engineering – and that means we need engineers.
